Richard P. Dorsey has practiced law in the St. Louis area since 1985. He began as an Associate with the firm of Niedner, Niedner, Ahlheim & Bodeux in St. Charles. The firm later became Niedner, Ahlheim, Bodeux & Dorsey when he became a Partner. In 1995, he and Edward C. Ahlheim formed the firm of Ahlheim & Dorsey, LLC. He is a 1981 graduate of St. Louis University with a degree in Business Administration and a 1984 graduate of St. Louis University with both a Juris Doctor degree and a Master of Business Administration. He was a Prosecuting Attorney for the City of St. Peters, Missouri and served one term in the Missouri House of Representatives. He currently serves as Chairman of the St. Louis County Boundary Commission. A life-long resident of North St. Louis County, he has served on the Boards of Directors of numerous charities and not for profit organizations. He is currently involved in the Florissant Rotary Club, Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, Valley Industries Sheltered Workshop and North Star District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council Boy Scouts of America. He practices in the area of Creditors’ Rights (Collection, Landlord-Tenant and Bankruptcy), Estate Planning, Real Estate and Taxation.
